Compliance & Testing

Our installations are designed to meet South African building regulations and commonly referenced SANS guidance for fire protection systems. We perform full commissioning tests (flow, pressure and valve operation) and supply detailed test reports and certificates for handover to the client and local authority where required.

Typical Technical Specifications

Hydrant flow requirement:
Designed to achieve required duty flows for the building — typical benchmark: 1,200 L/min at operating pressure as required by site design.

Spacing & coverage:
Placed to provide accessible coverage across the site; hydrant centres and distance-to-building follow site-specific hydraulic design.

Materials:
Heavy-duty ductile iron mains, corrosion-resistant hydrant outlets and industry-standard valve hardware.
